Making great ski holidays affordable for all.

Our Story.

Directski.com was founded in early 2000 by two Irish entrepreneurs and ski enthusiasts, Anthony Collins and Dermot McNally, who had a vision to create the world’s first online ski holiday company.

They were soon joined by Anthony’s brother Neal, who worked with them to assemble a small team that shared the same passion for both technology and snowsports.

London Calling.

Directski.com launched in Ireland just in time for the 2000 ski season before spreading our wings into the UK ski market in 2001.

Our ethos was, and still is to this day, to provide a simple, low cost way to book your ski holiday online, without the need for expensive brochures and high street shops.

Our Service.

While we aim to make it as simple as possible to choose, book and make changes to your ski holiday and ski packs online, our Dublin-based customer support team are on hand to offer expert advice by phone or online chat, should you require them.

At Directski.com, we only work with the most reputable airlines, transfer companies, rental shops, ski schools and hand-picked accommodations to ensure your ski holiday goes without a hitch. As well as that, our experienced overseas team are on hand when you arrive at your destination airport and we offer 24/7 in-resort support, should you need any assistance during your stay.

We are a licensed and bonded Tour Operator, so you can rest assured that all our holidays are fully protected.
Rating us “Excellent” on Trustpilot, our regular Directski.com customers love our mix of simple online booking, great value, excellent customer service and the comfort of booking with a fully licenced and bonded Irish family business.

The War Brief.

Directski.com has always been a champion for making great ski holidays affordable for all. Through our tongue-in-cheek marketing campaigns we’ve battled war against high cost ski holidays.

While highlighting the low uptake of ski holidays in the North of England compared to London and the South East, we drew the wrath of the British media, Newcastle City Council, Tory MEPs and earned a ‘funny things that happened this week’ spot on BBC’s prime-time Watchdog.

Frankly Speaking.

Not everyone is a fan of our approach, as we discovered when we highlighted just how cheap our holidays were compared to market-dominant Crystal Ski, who are part of, one of the world’s biggest travel companies, TUI.

Crystal management were so upset, they called Anthony and Neal’s dad to complain (really!). Not ones to back down, we enlisted the help of Frank Bruno in our cheeky “Crystal Ski were so upset about our low prices, that they phoned our dad”, video response.

Booking Online is Easy Peasy.

Some people will always like dropping into their local travel agent and sipping a frothy cappuccino while they chat about their next ski holiday, and that’s okay.

For those who are happy to book online and save a couple of quid, our campaign against high prices continues. And besides, booking online is easy peasy!

Directski.com Today.

In the 20 plus years since our launch, Directski.com has gone from strength to strength, along the way acquiring Belfast-based Ski McNeill as well as Ski Beat, the UK’s largest independent chalet company. Since 2012, we’ve been part of the Collins’ family-owned Topflight Travel Group.

We’ve won many accolades over the years, including being acknowledged 3 years in a row as one of Ireland’s fastest growing technology companies at the annual Deloitte Fast50 awards. Both in 2023 & 2024 we were also recognised as one of Ireland's Best Managed Companies led by Deloitte and in association with AIB.

Supported by Enterprise Ireland, we are recognised internationally as a leader in the application of technology and Lean management techniques in the delivery of exceptional customer experience, for the lowest possible cost.

Not bad for a couple of Dublin lads whose vision was simply to make great ski holidays affordable for all!
