This traditional low-key hotel is a welcome addition to Directski.com’s hotel offering in the Gastein Valley. Built back in 1883, the hotel retains some olde world charm with an edge of modernity due to a refurbishment in the relatively recent past. You will be guaranteed a warm welcome.
For skiers, the location is great, only 400 metres from the Stubnerkogel cable car and right next to the well known Felsentherme Spa if you wish to relax and unwind after a day on the slopes. Or if you fancy a flutter you are also very close to Bad Gastein’s casino.
Evening meals and breakfasts are served at the hotel’s steakhouse restaurant. Guests are guaranteed great food with welcoming service. On Tuesday evening the restaurant will be closed, so you can sample one of the other eateries in Bad Gastein, the Directski.com rep will be on hand to help you with some options.
A great choice for skiers, who want to ski and don’t require all the extras that a 4* hotel would offer. It is a great 3* option.

Ski Kindergarten Bad Gastein
Here children between the ages of
3 to 4 can take their first steps on the slope while the parents are out enjoying the snow themselves. This is available Mondays to Fridays from 10.00am until noon and is located at the bottom of the Stubnerkogel gondola in Bad Gastein.
