Right in the heart of Zell am See’s pedestrianised centre, the Hotel Fish'Inn is like a warm hug from a family that really knows how to look after you – and throw in some modern comforts while they’re at it! The Hörl family, who've been running the place for generations, have mastered the art of making you feel like you’re one of their own, with a good mix of old-school hospitality and new-fangled amenities.

Speaking of location, you can’t beat it! You’re just a hop, skip, and a jump from the lake (two minutes, to be exact) and a six-minute wander to the Schmittenhöhe cable car – so getting to the slopes is as handy as it gets.

Feeling peckish? You’re in for a treat. Start the day with a cracking buffet breakfast, and if you’re up for a feed later, there are three top-notch à la carte restaurants on site. Whether you’re in the mood for ribs, some Greek tapas, or a proper Austrian schnitzel, you’ll be spoiled for choice – there’s something here to fill any belly.

And after all that skiing (or après-skiing – no judgment here!), the hotel’s got you covered when it’s time to unwind. There’s a sauna and an infrared cabin to soothe those aching muscles. Or, if you fancy chilling out with a view, head up to the rooftop terrace. If it’s a bit nippy outside, you can cozy up in the relaxation room instead.

And if you’re really after some pampering, for a small extra fee you can saunter through a connected walkway to their sister hotel and dive into the pool. Or pop down the road – the Zell am See-Kaprun indoor pool is just three minutes away, with its sauna area calling your name.
